This jewelry designer/creater/vendor at the Sunday Breckenridge Market displays his pieces on an old Navaho rug. (It's clearly a twill and not an old Mexican rug). It appears to have natural dyes, It also appears to be intact, making it one of the largest un-rebuilt Navaho rugs I've seen. He said recently a small child had spilled organge juice on his other old rug. I suggested he use other rugs for display to keep the old ones safe, but he simply replied, "I thought about it, but I'd like to give back and let people see them."
